Current Coronavirus Measures
These are our coronavirus control measures as we transition out of lockdown
As things open up with Step 4 of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown things will change once again at the club from 19th July. Please see below for a summary of the changes that will come into effect on that date.
Thank you for all your patience and perseverence over the last 18 months; we can't thank you enough for the support and encouragement.
If we haven't seen you at the club since 2020 we very much look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Measures applying from 19th July 2021
Do I still need to book?
Please just arrive at the club at your preferred time. Please note, for studio classes booking is still preferable to ensure your place.
N.B.: In the run-up to 19th July we will no longer require the booking of gym places. This comes into effect from the middle of the week before (Thurs 15th July).
Are numbers still limited in the gym?
No - if you would prefer to avoid busy times please ask at reception and we will advise you of the best times to train.
How long can I spend in the gym?
As long as you like.
Do I need to wear a mask or face covering?
Face coverings may be worn at your discretion, but are not mandatory.
Will there still be additional ventilation?
Will the screens between gym equipment still be in place?
No - these will be removed over the next few weeks.
Will I still need to clean the equipment after use?
Will there still be room number limits?
No - Social distancing will be down to your personal choice.
What we need you to do
PLEASE don't come to the club if you have:
- tested positive for Covid-19 either by lateral flow home test or PCR.
- had close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
- been notified to self isolate by the NHS Test and Trace app.
- Covid-19 symptoms but have not yet taken a test.
Please continue to clean your equipment after use - We don't know about you be we like knowing the kit is clean every time we pick it up, free of sweat and germs. :-)
Please be considerate as everyone has different tolerences to the risks posed by Covid-19.
